…and straight on ’til morning

The second star to the right

Shines in the night for you

To tell you that the dreams you plan

Really can come true

The second star to the right

Shines with a light so rare

And if it’s Never Land you need

It’s light will lead you there

Twinkle, twinkle little star

So we’ll know where you are

Gleaming in the skies above

Lead us to the love we dream of

And when our journey is through

Each time we say “Goodnight”

We’ll thank the little star that shines

The second from the right

There are a lot of inspiring men and women out there. More recently I’ve found it in my sister, my new found friend Morgan and two little blogs known as World of Wanderlust and Meg Courtney Photography.

The Sister in Seattle

It can be, and usually is, quite intimidating seeing so much success around you.    It’s even worse when that success is the  picture perfect image of what you want! The little jealous green meanie inside of me just wants to hold up in that crack in the wall (maybe not the one I’m currently looking at since my hotel room is infested with cockroaches right now, eek!) and pout. The hardest thing for me to do is to stand up and fight for that dream. I finally asked myself- If they can do it, then why not me too?

The reality is that these individuals are beacons of hope for us dreamers. So there is no reason to be jealous! We should celebrate their success and learn. It’s not easy, as I’m sure many of them will openly admit, to reach that success. As in all things if you want it, then it’s worth it. So buckle up, warp speed… engage! and go make your life happen! Tell that star to twinkle for you, grab some pixi dust (and no that is not a reference for drugs) and think happy thoughts!

This is my SECOND star where my dreams really can come true. Now I just gotta hang on to those marbles.

What is your dream? Where is your SECOND star? Tell me in the comments below!

If yours isn’t twinkling just yet, let me share my star with you and we can dream together!
